Hello,
After moving from Windows Vista to Windows 7 Ultimate, I installes again my FireShot Pro 0.80 extensions for FireFox 3.5.5 and IE 8. I encountered no problem with installing and registering the FireFox extension. Yet, after installing the IE8 extension, I could not register it. Each time that I would try, even after having lauched "fireshot-register.exe" in administrator mode, I get an error message which reads : « Couldn't create setting files: C:\Program Files\FireShot for IE\fs_ie_settings.ini Please check your permissions. » Then the registering process fails and reverts FireShot to the unregistered version. What can be done to solve such an issue ? Thanks in advance for your kind help. |
