Not sure if there is a bug in the program or something. Perhaps its Avast!.
I used the "Upload Capture to web server" functionality when this happened: https://graphicshost.net/images/2tob5ft35u4sg9.png Fireshot doesn't work anymore now. Says something about a SSS.bin. https://graphicshost.net/images/xatv1u1qjzaw9cf.png Restarting Firefox doesn't help. Plugin version: 0.80 OS type and version: Windows 7 32bit RTM Version of Firefox: 3.5.5 Steps to reproduce bug: Install Avast, update it and try to capture a webpage and upload it. Avast Virus Definitions timestamp 12/3/09. I have been using Fireshot + Avast for about a month before this happened. |

This is because of false positive generated by Avast. __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!

Wasn't able to reproduce on my XP machine. Maybe it's just a fluke ... |

Not a fluke.
My problem happens when all i do is click on the "S" icon! this is happening all the time for me. except the Avast warning. (I am running Avast!) Then Firefox proceeds to crash and all windows close. Sometimes I will have 12 Firefox windows open. This has never been an issue before & i have been running both Fireshot & Avast together for at least 1.5 yrs! I am not able to reload FireShot either! |
