Plugin version - 0.80
OS - Windows 7 64 bit Version of Firefox - 3.5.5 Firfox runs just fine except when I click on the FireShot icon my computer freezes and the only way to fix is to completely shut down my computer. FireShot works great on my other computers. One has Vista and the other 2 has XP. Is this extension compatible with Windows 7? I have removed the extension and re-installed it but that did not help. |

If you happen to have an Asus, try removing the Soundblaster drivers and leave the Realtek ones. This has worked for me and some others. |

Wow, looks like the problem with sound engine in Windows 7...
In this way, simple switching off "Play sound after capture" should help. __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!

Not only did FireShot freeze my computer but several other programs did as well. The fix by sammygee worked for me also. I installed an older driver for my sound card and so far after a couple of weeks there has been no freezes.
The sound card (listed as High Definition Audio Device) in device manager is now using a driver dated 7/13/2009 by Microsoft. I also have an Asus. Asus Laptop G72GX Intel Duo 2.53 GHz 64-bit 6 GB ram NVIDIA GTX260M |
