captured screenshot is too high

Hi,

I have the feeling I entered this problem earlier, but I can't find it, so again.

Since acquiring a new pc and reinstalling Fireshot Pro I have a problem. When I try to make a 'shot' of a region of my desktop it captures a region 2 or 3 centimeters higher.

When I start and get the cross hairs 5 cm or so of the upper part of my screen turns black and can't be used.

I use an ATI / AMD Radeon HD6790 graphics card on Windows 7 64 bit on a 24' led/lcd screen (used that with my old pc too with no problems).

The last time I tried to take the screen shot a bit lower to compensate I got the region twice: one with the 2cm cut off and a nearly right one on top of it.

It makes the program useless. BTW Fireshot in Chrome and in IE9 is okay.

FireShot does not capture desktop contents. Do you mean Screenshot Studio?
