Cannot put icon on Chrome extension menu bar

Windows 10, Chrome v. 84.0.4147.105 (which now states "Your browser is managed by your organization")
Bitdefender Total Security
The story: Installed clean version of Win 10, attempted unsuccessfully to reinstall Fireshot. Bought Fireshot Pro, still unsuccessful -- Fireshot icon appears momentarily (1 sec) in Chrome extension menu bar, then disappears. Please help!

Which 4 mandatory Chrome policies do you have?

Interesting, now I have the 4 following policy categories: Chrome Policies, UBlock Origin, Google Docs Offline and Zoom. All say 'No policies set.' If I understand you correctly, the only way to install the extension to Chrome is to create another one policy, just like it's made for Ublock, Google Docs and Zoom. The question is: who created and activated these policies in your browser?
