Some time this past month probably with Firefox's update to v38, I can no longer customize the editor settings because the button at "Preferences>Editor>Press to open editor settings" will fail to open the editor settings window.
So i am left with the default naming etc settings for the screenshot. Windows 7 x64 FF 38.0.1 (same happened with v 38.0.0) it's not another extension causing this, I have tried it. |

You may try to update FireShot. If this does not help you, you can reach these settings from the Editor window.
To do this, select "Capture Visible part and Edit". The Editor appears and you'll see the "Options" button. __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!

Thank you very much for your reply!
I always keep the extension up to date, but it still does not work. Have you tested and are certain 100% that it does not happen in your tests? For me both in desktop and laptop pc (fresh windows and FF install on the latter) the Editor Settings window fails to open (win7 x64 in both) with FF 38. However, your alternative way of reaching the settings worked! |
