I guess this is about the website really.
Maybe I'd find an answer in the forum but I shouldn't need to be looking here. I've used Fireshot free version for a while and would be willing to part with some cash but I'm confused about whether I really need Fireshot Pro or Screenshot or both or maybe Fireshot free plus ScreenShot? - but there seems to be a big overlap of functionality - do I need both? if I buy one do I get a substantial discount on the other? I got the free trial of ScreenShot to see if that would help my understanding (answer: not much). That just expired and sent me to a "buy now" page headed "Fireshot Pro" - OK initial confusion quickly dispelled by the subheading "Purchase screenshot studio" but sorry guys, lack of clarity is going to result in lost sales. |

Sorry for the lack of clarity, the descriptions and the website are re-designed currently.
My advice is the following: if you capture web pages mostly, then get FireShot Pro. If you capture Standalone applications, then get Screenshot Studio. If you want both of the programs, I'll provide you with 40% on the second purchase. __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!

Hi Rob, did you go ahead and purchased this already? And are you still using Fireshot at the moment? |

Still confused but eventually got round to register fire shot as I was using the free trial nearly every day. What made me get round to paying for fireshot and several shareware-type products was when Adobe started trying to lock me into their cloud creative suite, not just at a high price but, as usual for them, converting the price at 1usd=1gbp. I thought I'm making a lot of use of free stuff, those guys are more deserving recipients of my money than adobe - and a lot less greedy. |
