I open a new topic on this, because this is really strange error. As it happens on some pages but not on all? Which is really strange... For example everytime I try to get a snap of hs.fi (= one shitty finnish newspaper, whose stupid news I sometimes would like to save in snaps) the error always occurs. Then again on many other pages not...
I have the latest Fireshot version (the one updated 2 days ago after fixing the dim page prob), browser is Firefox 48.0.2 and OS is Windows 10 Home. Also I've tried this with antivir disabled but it doesn't change a thing. Nor does removing and reinstalling Fireshot help. I even did so that after removing Fireshot I removed all Fireshot entries from prefs.js so that no old settings remained before reinstallation but still the same prob. But like said, not on all the webpages but on some...

Are you using a 64 bit browser? This is the problem.
The sss.dll don't work on 64 bit browser. If you wish Fireshot still works, reverse on a 32 bit version, the "speed" you lose in not perceptible in daily use of the browser. Actually i use Fireshot on iceDragon Firefox based by comodo and works fine. Regards. |
