How to: Delayed capture?

I see nothing in the context menu, options, or settings hinting that delayed capture is even an option.

Is it?

If so, how do I do it?

Hello, looks like you're looking for the 'Alter page scrolling speed' setting in FireShot Options.

Though there's no such a feature right now, you could use a configurable hot key in FireShot. So you put a mouse over an element do get it displayed and then you press a hot key to run FireShot. Sort of a manual delay, when you decide when to run FireShot with a hot key.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work in some cases. E.g. on squareup.com there's an element it doesn't want to capture. I couldn't re-create this problem on this site. Which element rejects to be captured there? Another feature request: Allow shortcut for capture and edit. The last used action hotkey always performs the last used action and capture mode (as declared). So, if you manually select 'Capture and Edit', then you will be able to use the 'last user action' hotkey to perform exactly this action.

I've found a solution for you: there is an command in FireShot to capture a list of URLs in the main menu, and it provides an option for the delayed capture. When the dialog window opens, you need to provide an URL for the page you want to capture and setup a delay ('When loaded, wait to allow to render it completely' option) and change the mode to capture a visible part ('Specify mode'). Start the process, and the page will be opened in a new tab. During the countdown, click on the circled area.
