Hi, After upgrading to Fireshot .98.87 on Firefox 47 on my Macbook, I cannot edit any screenshots. I can only Save, Save as PDF, Print or Copy to Clipboard. It is the same on my PC with Windows 10.

Do you not offer the editing funtion for free users anymore, or am I missing something?

Thanks

Dave.

Hi Dave, it's available for Windows on Firefox 32-bit. No edit functionality for Macs (even paid).

Hi JK,

Is there a possibility that in future the "Editor" will return for Firefox on Windows 10 - 64-bit?
I miss not being able to edit and save as jpg. Pdf is rather boring.

Thanks, sjon.

well it is going downhill here.
shame really after all this time, years that i used it.

now no edit and no use to me.

"Awesome Screenshot Plus" will replace Fireshot.

thank you and goodbye.

No problem! However, if you miss FireShot features one day, just return to Firefox 32-bit - it works fine even on Windows 10 64.

Not true.

There is no edit function, you can not crop, you can not add text, you can not put in  arrows, you can not do any of the things that were there in the past.

Saving a screenshot as pdf is rubbish, i can do that with "PrtScr" and sticking it in "paint".

no you have destroyed FireShot........Shame.  It was the best, but no longer.

Dear sjon,

I'm sure, if you check everything (Firefox is 32-bit, FireShot version is the latest, there're no problems with your anti-virus), you'll get your FireShot Editor back.

There are more than 270000 FireShot users on Firefox and thery're happy wink

Thank you for the 270.000 propaganda news.

But why would i decide to run Firefox 32 bit on my 64 bit computer just to accommodate fireshot?

I enjoy progress and enjoy my 64 bit, you just do not seem able to keep up.

So you confirm that i am right: there is NO edit function, just pdf safe left in fireshot.

And that is of no use.

And just to enforce my point, i used the link you provided and re-installed and of course it only does safe as PDF.

And under preferences when you click edit it states : COMING SOON.

But it says that for the last couple of months and NOTHING comes.

No i am out of here, your competitors are simply better, you have only got yourself to blame.
