FireShot appears to kill the PDF plugin in Firefox. After installing FireShot whenever I tried to view a PDF in Firefox I got an error. I disabled the extension and uninstalled it, but that didn't help, the PDF plugin would no longer work. I installed Acrobat again, but no go. I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it and it still wouldn't work. I finally had to uninstall and delete all Mozilla files and do a completely clean reinstall of Firefox before I regained PDf function. Again, as soon as I installed FireShot it hosed the PDF plugin again. It's really too bad because I really liked the functionality of this extension. |
