Initial Install

Question

I am following the instructions in the email sent when I purchased the product. I download the fireshot-install-2_1_4_1.exe file and then click on the link. There I get a FAIL on having the latest version. I would have thought the latest version is the download link, but I see here in the forum it seems the latest version is 2.1.4.18. Where can I get this version? Or whatever the latest version is?

The .exe does many checks and install the necessary components. You said you clicked the link in the installer - that means the install package detected missing extension that you could not install because the link did not work. That's why I suggested you to manually install the extension package. P.S. Can you please re-run the activation link - on which step does it stop? Thank you.

Hi Fred, I can confirm the fireshot-install-2_1_4_1.exe is the latest version of the installer. Does the activation pages complain if the Pro features do not exist, or does it say the extension is not up to date? If it says that the extension is not up to date, please make sure you deleted / disabled the version you're currently using and then install this XPI file: https://getfireshot.com/downloads/fireshot_pro-2.1.4.19.xpi ?
