I'm using the FireShot Chrome extension on macOS. In FireShot Options, I checked 'Do not show Save as dialog,' but when I save a screenshot, a Save As dialog still opens. I expected the file to save directly without that prompt. I set a Default output folder and it didn't change the behavior.
Does Chrome's 'Ask where to save each file before downloading' setting affect this option? And is the option supposed to apply when saving from the preview/editor, directly from the extension menu, or both? I'd like to understand the intended behavior before calling this a bug. I can share exact Chrome, macOS and FireShot versions and steps if needed. |
