I'd like to report a bug, or perhaps suggest a feature. I've previously consulted on this issue via email.
Here's the issue: Many of the ChatGPT responses are quite lengthy, and when I want to take a screenshot of a specific part, I need to use the "Capture selected area" feature in Fireshot. However, during use, I found that I can't expand the selection area by dragging with the mouse. If I recall correctly, the technical support team mentioned that it's due to the iframe issue, which makes it unachievable. I really wish to have this functionality. https://youtu.be/uIm8-Kot7Ww In the following video, I first demonstrate the scroll capture feature of another screenshot software. This software's scroll capture function works by first selecting an area, then automatically capturing the view within this area as you scroll the mouse, generating a long image. This screenshot software is called pixpin. In contrast, Fireshot currently requires manually selecting a sufficiently large and long area before taking the screenshot. I wonder if Fireshot is interested in implementing such a feature. If so, it would be quite impressive. There's always a solution in technology, but what's more valuable is the approach to solving problems. |
