FireShot Pro not compatible to Thunderbird 60.3.1

With the last Thunderbird update to 60.3.1 the FireBird icon has disappeared. When checking the Add-ons, Thunderbird says that FireShot Pro (v.0.98.95) isn't comppatible and therefore de-activated.
Is there any update in the channel? I very much rely on FireShot Pro to archive some interresting or important mails. Best, Rolf |

Greetings,
The FireShot add-on will work with TB 60.3.1 if you turn off strict compatibility. Working for me without issues. Change the preference extensions.strictCompatibility to false in Tools/Options/Advanced/General/Config. editor (double-click a pref. to toggle the value). Hope that helps... |

Thanks, webtuner, for your post. Unfortunately didn't help, because the FireShot Pro Add-on is not released for the new TB version. TB therefore de-activated the Add-on and doesn't list it any more as an available Add-on. I could only de-install, not adapt the tool.
Obviousely it is up to FireShot to prove compatibility and re-listing. I hope, it will be available soon, due I really relied on it. |

Hi. Firefox refuses to install the xpi. (Probably because i use a German version?).

As I understood, the problem was related to Thunderbird 60.3.1

ok, didn't understand the way of installation before, I'm not too used to do, Sorry!
Installation was possible as described and "S" icon appears as before. But when trying to use FireShot, following error message appears: FireShot failet to init the host app with the following error: Error couldn't open library : error 87 After clicking on OK, following message appears: ForeShot will continue in Lite mode. Clicking on OK again, Firefox opens https://getfireshot.com/troubleshooting.php but FireShot doesn't start. Trying again, the following message appears: The previous capturing was not finished yet, please complete it before starting a new one. HINT: Or switch to FireShot Pro (https://getfireshot.com) (I'm licensed to FireShot Pro) |

Plugin version (i.e. FireShot 0.99.15)
OS type and version Windows 10 French Thunderbird 91.5.0 I would like to know if there is now an issue making Fireshot running with Thunderbird, as no answer was done to the last post. |
