fireshot cannot complete requested action because the capture size is to big
we apologize for that
but you can save it to pdf instead
do you want to proceed

When I capture a vertical image, I can only save it as a PDF.
I can't even save it as a PDF.
The current light version can capture vertical images, but it can't be saved afterwards.
I bought it thinking I could save it as a JPEG like the previous free version.
If I can't, I can't use it and would like a refund.

Understanding the Limitations: PNG and JPEG formats have inherent limitations when it comes to the maximum dimensions they can support. Specifically, the height and width of these image formats are limited to approximately 65,500 pixels. This is a technical constraint of the formats themselves, not of FireShot. Given that web pages today can be extremely long, especially when capturing full pages or multiple pages in one image, it’s quite easy to exceed this limit. When the capture exceeds these pixel dimensions, you may encounter errors or incomplete captures. Impact on FireShot Functionality: When you attempt to save a long web page or a series of pages in a single PNG or JPEG file, the image may reach or surpass this 65,500-pixel limit. As a result, FireShot may not be able to save the entire capture correctly, leading to errors or truncated images. Solution: Capture to PDF. PDF files don't have the same pixel dimension limits as PNG or JPEG, allowing you to capture and save longer pages seamlessly. Please note, that it's recommended to setup multi-page PDF layout before exporting PDF in FireShot to provide better compatibility and performance.
