Fireshot went missing from Right-click menus several weeks ago in Chrome.  I use another browser, Slimjet, infrequently and today I noticed that it still showed in that browser - until I updated Fireshot and now it does not show on the Right-click menu.

Plugin version 2.0.1.3
OS type and version: Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems
Version of browser: Chrome Version 127.0.6533.73 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Steps to reproduce the bug: N/A, always missing from Right-click menu
Webpage URL causing this problem: All

Yes, thank you for reporting. This feature was paused due to migration to Manifest V3. We'll add it back in the next update.

This is also happening to me right now, it used to be that i can choose what type of screenshot i want to make when i right-click and there was a drop-down menu there, but now there is only the option to make a screenshot of the entire page. This is extremely annoying and i hate it. I have been using this for many months now, and it has always been working amazingly and great, and it was always super useful and handy to quickly make a shot on a page, but now i have to click on the icon on the top to do that, and its honestly pissing me off immensely. This is something i had and now its gone. Please fix this as it is really annoying.

Plugin Version 2.0.2.1
OS type and version: Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2 German 64-Bit-Betriebssystem
Version of browser: Opera GX Version:LVL 6 (core: 112.0.5197.60) 64-bit
Steps to reproduce the bug: N/A, always missing from Right-click menu

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We wish we could leave it as it was, but during the migration to Manifest V3 we had to re-write about 80% of our code base. We were focused on the main functionality, so the context menu feature was postponed.

In the current 2.0.2.1 version it displays only the last action taken. For example, if you choose from the main menu the command "Capture Visible part", next time the context menu will display this command as well.

I have the a similar problem. I have had the FireShot Pro lifetime since 2020. I only get the "Capture visible part and Save" option on the right click menu. I have even looked to see on the options page if there is a place to enter my License Key,(to activate Pro options)  can't do that either. Please fix this. I really use this program a lot.

I am happy to report that the right-click functionality reappeared in Chrome a few weeks ago.

If you still are not seeing it, be sure to update your browser to the most current version and also update FireShot.  If you are using Chrome, go to the Extensions page at "chrome://extensions/" and enter Developer Mode via the top right corner.  This should bring the Update button into view in the upper left corner; one click will update all Extensions.

This is not about the thing showing up on the Menu, its about the fact that there was a entire drop-down menu there where you could pick what type of screenshot you want, not just a single option.
As of right now 09.09.2024 09:19 this still does not work. It did work a few months ago and they already said they would fix this with the next update, the addon already hase been updated since then and this is still not fixed.

I also find not having the "original" right-mouse-button click, then being able to select how FireShot will capture the screen content very frustrating.  I work constantly with lots of pop-up windows in Google Chrome in which the title bar menu isn't displayed - so no FireShot shortcut button or Chrome main-menu.  In these pop-up windows I often just want to capture the displayed text - not for FireShot to perform a scrolling capture.  But this option isn't available with in the right-click menu - nor does holding the [Shift] button provide any extra options.

!!!  Please !!! - provide us with the "original" right-click option of being able to select many different FireShot screen capture methods.  Given that such functionality is available in FireShot, surely it must be simply to improve the right-click menu options.

This was a thing when i first installed this extension, they took it away and have not brought it back yet, but keep telling that they will in the next update. This is absolutely outrageous.
