Filename and save folder settings do not work - cause found

Actually, today the save settings suddenly stopped working, forcing the save file name to be a random number. ( ex. 9f0c61c5-dadf-487a-9e96-33a5bcb635db.jpeg ). Also, the only destination was the default download folder.
So I tried restarting the Brave browser and reinstalling this extension did not improve the situation. However, it worked fine in Firefox with the same version installed. Therefore, I thought the problem was only in the Brave browser when I checked the problem, I found that the cause was the recently installed Image Downloader extention. After disabling it, the problem returned to normal immediately. Thank you for reporting. This is a known issue for us, but your report forced me to re-think what can we do with that.

Hi, I'm having this issue now as well as of the last week or so. Fireshot does not generate a filename based on the template settings (currently only using %t). Instead the filename shows as a random string of numbers (f84b12e8-02be-44f9-b01e-104471a4cad2.png).
I am only having this issue on Chrome as it works fine on Opera. I don't have any other extensions or add-ons that I've installed recently that may be interfering with Fireshot. I want to say this happened after a Fireshot update but I was waiting to see if another update to fix it, but has not. Any help is appreciated! Hello,
The only additional extensions I have are Bitwards (a password manager), Google Docs Offline, and Office - Enable Copy and Paste. I tried disabling everything except for Fireshot just in case, restarted the browser, and the issue still persisted when trying to save. |
