DrFaulken, the plugin had not been updated in fact. This is a bug it happens just once after the installation and I noticed it too. This version does not provide any logging to files, I'll think about this. Thanks.

I love FireShot and have convinced several of my co-workers to buy the Pro version because we use it so much. Adding Chrome support would be perfect, and if you would like any additional beta testers please let me know.

no worries JK. sorry, i must have misunderstood. Don't stress yourself. And for goodness sake take a day every so often to gather yourself. fresh eyes can be sometimes made by standing back for a time.... ;-) (i speak from personal experience)

So far, so good!!! I was super excited that it worked so well from the start, and that the user interface was identical to the Firefox version except for the cosmetic difference of the dropdown menu when you click the Fireshot icon. After using the application for about an hour or two my computer started to slow. Opening email in Microsoft Outlook was noticeably slower. Memory and CPU usage looked normal for my Chrome instances. I am going to continue to use the plugin daily, and I'll let you know if the slowdowns continue. I will also try to take better notes as to when they occur and under what circumstances. Thank you very much, it's otherwise great so far!!

JK, I have used Fireshot for Chrome on my home laptop (Acer 5740, M430 i5 proc., 4GB RAM, Intel G2 X25M SSD hard drive, Windows 7 64-bit) for three days without a slowdown. My work laptop (Lenovo T400, dual core proc, 4GB ram, 5400rpm hard drive, Windows 7 32-bit) was the one that slowed down. I don't have Outlook installed on my home machine, and that was the program that had the most problems on my work laptop. Also, I woke my home laptop up from hibernation this morning and noticed the Aero effects had all been disabled (including Aero Peek, which I use a lot). I rebooted my laptop, and when I relaunched Chrome I saw a page stating that Fireshot for Chrome had been updated. Was there an update to the plugin? If so, do you think that it was related to Aero shutting off? Thanks again for doing this -- are there system information files or logs or something that would help you better?

Just wanted to say I used FireShot for Chrome all day at work without a slowdown. I took close to fifty screenshots today and left Chrome running for about eight hours. No slowdowns or issues with Outlook or any other program. Not sure what, if anything, was different about my laptop machine. Fireshot for Chrome is going great so far.
