My wife is a family historian researching the Pamplin family surname. We have a subscription to ancestry and are referred to the findagrave.com website for some records. We like to use Fireshot to select part of the web pages in Chrome and then either print or save them for future use.
It does not matter what browser we use with Fireshot on this particular website but Fireshot will not work. All it does is highlight (in blue) the sections of the page we are trying to snip. e.g. https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/101970791 The windows snipping tool app (in windows 10) does work, but it will not allow you to snip anything apart from what is visible on the screen at that moment. This is why Fireshot is such an invaluable tool as it allows you to scroll down webpages whilst selecting the data you want. I wonder why this screenshot extension does not work on this particular site? Steps to reproduce the bug: go to website and attempt to make a selection on the page www.findagrave.com/memorial/101970791 |
