I've been using Fireshot on Macbook Chrome for last 3 years (even current Version 131.0.6778.265 (Official Build) (x86_64), and it is painfully slow now with the last two updates. Really, really slow. Slow to load the pulldown when clicking on the extension in the browser, slow to paint the capture, slow to render and display the capture. It's really become unusable at this point. |

Hello. I'm sorry to hear that. First of all, the new version was released to address the Google Manifest V3 introduction (https://developer.chrome.com/blog/resuming-the-transition-to-mv3) and further deprecation of the extensions based on Manifest V2, so the previous versions are going to be disabled soon on Chrome.
We try to correlate the number of problem reports with the number of users to understand the severity of a problem. Presently, we heard about this problem just from a couple of users. The total amount of FireShot users is more than 6.000.000, so it's highly likely that this problem is specific to your configuration. I can suggest a couple of solutions to address this problem: 1. Find out the cause of why the v3 manifest extensions are slow on your config (is it due to outdated hardware / profile issue, etc?). 2. Install a previous version of FireShot: https://www.crx4chrome.com/history/1000/ 3. Try another browser. Hope this helps. __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!
