v 0.92 for Chrome
Windows Vista First use in Chrome. I was snapping a web page and I was asked about compression with a popup window. I left it at '80' and checked 'don't ask again'. I shouldn't have checked because some snaps need more compression but I can't find a way to get that option back. I think it said use 'Shift/Save' to bring it up but I have not been able to make that work.. Any help appreciated... |

Sorry, I missed your request. Please hold SHIFT when pressing the Save button and you'll see the dialog again. __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!

I have the same problem as the OP. Although I do not remember checking off the "don't ask again" box, I believe that a low compression setting is the reason that all of my screenshots are of very low quality. (I have tested this by comparing Fireshot with other screenshot tools.)
Holding the "SHIFT" key while pressing the Save button does not work. The dialog box does not appear when I do this. I believe that this problem is a bug because the same thing is happening on two different computers, both running the same version of Firefox 20.0.1. and of Fireshot 0.98.34. One computer has Windows XP Pro and the other has Windows 7. As a result of this problem, I have decided not to upgrade to the PRO version and I'm looking for an alternative Firefox add-on to capture entire web pages. If I could fix the low image quality problem, I would stay with Fireshot because I find it useful in other ways. |

KBR, let's get in touch via Skype and Teamviewer and I think I'll be able to fix that for you. My Skype ID is evgeny.suslikov __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!

JK,
I have sent several contact requests on Skype and did not receive a reply from you. I did identify myself as the person from this forum with the low image quality problem. To reach you by Skype, I copied and pasted your user ID from your post. However, when I searched for this user ID, it came up with several identical user IDs with numbers after the name. Since they were all for someone living in the same town, I assumed that they were iterations of a single account. I contacted the first in the series because it had your name without a number following it. Did you receive my contact requests? If not, is there another way I could reach you to resolve this problem? I have been unable to fix it on my own. |
