How do I merge selection areas?

Hi, in your features page, there are several examples of how to apply filters, for example this one:
https://screenshot-program.com/uplf9519364a1b22385cf040385dc5f3ed9/fill.png They all seem to be applied to the background of an area covering two rectangles. I can't seem to reproduce this -- how do I merge the selection of the two areas? Or is this a feature that's only available in the pro version? Thanks! |

Hmm... You might mention that on the features page itself. I spent quite a lot of time trying to figure it out. I feel a little like I've been tricked.
On the other hand, it's a very impressive bit of software -- thanks very much!! |
