Hi,
when I use FireShot, I don't get the same what I see in my browser window. The content is basically there. But the size of the hardcopies is smaller than in the browser and the characters are not in the even spacing. Text looks somewhat too small and garbled. The problem occurs on every website. (It has been working before, and unfortunately I don't know when it stopped working) I use Firefox 47.0.1 on Windows 7 and the latest available Fireshot Update 0.98.87. I checked the options and tried "Resize capture" value of "do not resize" and "custom % ... 100%". Same problem for both settings What's wrong? Duffy |

Hi Duffy,

Hi JK,
I just checked that zoom in Firefox has been reset. (Menu View => Zoom => Reset) But it did not change anything. And I usually do not change that setting. But what comes into my mind now is that I changed the display settings in Windows 7 some time ago. The size of text was set to "Custom - 115%" (Control Panel => Appearance and Personalization => Display) May this be the reason for the different sizes? But I would still expect that Fireshot renders the pages exactly like Firefox (same size and same fonts) Regards Duffy |

Well, I think, it's worth seeing. Can we get in touch in Skype or TeamViewer? __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!

No Skype, no teamviewer, sorry!
Can I send you an eMail with some hardcopies that show the differences? (and the settings) |

I received an eMail with an answer to my problem. Thank you for that!
It basically says that you have to use the capturing method "always scroll" if the text size in Windows has been changed. (Just wanted to share this in the support forum) This works for me. The hardcopy is still not exactly like the page in Firefox but at least the fonts are evenly spaced. |
