Ah, that's a very popular question - when you launch FireShot next time, hold the SHIFT button.

Thanks for the quick reply, but when exactly do I hold shift key? When I open the browser and go to first page I wish to save, when I right click the FSPro icon in top right of ff, when I select the save option in FSPro drop down?? Just tried all these and still the same folder pops up to store the image as pdf. Are you saying disable/enable FSPro or uninstall/install and hold shift key? I'm sure it's something simple.

It's when you select the save option in FSPro drop down - please keep holding it until you see the dialog.

Thanks, I now see a lot of options I haven't been using. However, I was hoping to reset the settings to as in the past. I would click on the FSPro icon upper rt in FF, select capture entire page and save as a PDF, this would open Windows File Explorer as a "Save As" window, without placing it in a folder yet. Then I would select folder of my choosing and hit save then get a popup option to open the file. Somehow, right now at the step of Windows File Explorer opening, the newly created file is already placed in a folder, where I have to cut and paste in the folder I prefer.
Is there a way to return settings to above mentioned?

Did you try holding the SHIFT key all the time after selecting the Save option? If this does not work for you (I have no idea why), there's another way to reset the settings - locate the fs_chrome_settings.ini file (in the %appdata%\FireShot folder) and delete it. Before deletion, please make sure you've closed Chrome - otherwise FireShot will restore it.

I think I found the problem. Somehow a box was checked that didn't used to be in Windows File Explorer. That is, when, after hitting capture and save...in FSPro, on the Windows File Explorer window that opens, there is some blue writing by a check box near the bottom that had become checked. It says "Do not show this dialog unless SHIFT is pressed (remember Path and file Type and save silently) So with this unchecked, I think I'm happy now.
Thank you so much for your time.
