HELP! Gmail Automatically Attaches JPEG

Question

I just got with FireShot and wanted to send a captured part of my screen to a colleague. I chose the 'Gmail, JPEG' option and now every time I go to send an email (to anyone else), the JPEG file attaches. Even if I reply to an email, it takes out that person's email address, inserts the JPEG file, and treats it like a brand new email with 'Screenshots from FireShot' as the subject line. How can I change this so I don't have to physically remove the attachment every time?

Hello, what version of FireShot are you using? If you restart Chrome, and try sending a screenshot via Gmail once again - will this problem repeat?
