Windows 8 not allowing Fireshot, no 'S' icon in top corner??

| Using new computer w/ Windows 8, just downloaded Fireshot & Firefox, icon isn't there. It is however, on my Thunderbird mail page. Is it not compatible w/ W8? Thx for the help... | ||
