The new Edge lite does not work for me

Question

Hi Edge Lite Team,

I just got the new Edge installed and rebooted.

After starting any capture I see the blue circle for a few second, fter which it disappears and all is back to normal.

Not picture taken sound and no popup where I can enter the save file name.

Any idea what could be wrong ?

Hi Marten, thank you for your report. This seems to be a problem of the 1809 release. The problem has been localized. A fix will be released in the next update soon.

Hi Marten. I've updated the version on the store to fix these issues. You can find it here: https://www.microsoft.com/store/apps/9NN7PPWR5F3G Please make sure the new version is 0.98.97 Can you tell me please are you using the Windows Insider Preview, or is it a standard version? The Insider Preview usually contains new features and updates, that can cause unexpected behavior. The purpose of this version is to test new features, gather feedback, and introduce fixes to the standard long term support release.

Thanks, Marten. Any idea when the Pro Version will be available ? We'll check how does the Lite version perform, before we get any estimates. Currently there's only 30 downloads per day in Edge, and more than 5000 in Chrome, so it's pretty much clear for us, which browser requires more attention ;)
