Hi
I everytime get the error "Unable to create bitmap: out of recources. Try reducing imageextents or get more of free RAM". This happens on 3 or 4 separate Computers but none of them have the same config (Xp, Vista, 2 or 4GB Ram, 256 and 384MB GForce 8800). These are all "Power Machines" If a use "Entire Page -> Edit" all is ok, i can Save the page. Shoult this way not need more power??? If i use "Entitre Page -> Save or Copy to Clipboard" then i get the Error Requester (Save) or get a corrupted clipboard. Can you check this? |

Yes, I'll check this if you post some examples of problematic web-pages.
Thanks. __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!

pick any long page, and a machine with less than 1gb ram, you'll get this:
--------------------------- Error --------------------------- Unable to create bitmap: out of resources. Try reducing image extents or get more of free RAM --------------------------- OK --------------------------- with all due respect, snagit's method of capturing long pages is more resource friendly. stunning extension though, keep up the good work. mark |

You can install Screenshot Studio and you'll see it captures as well as Snagit does.
The problem of FireShot is that it's a plugin for Firefox and it takes more resources to grab a screen through Firefox's engine. __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!

Hi
I am experiencing the same problem. Any longer site cannot be captured : (. My comp has 1,5GB of RAM. FireShot says its out of RAM, but there is more than 600MB free RAM when I look at windows manager. Hope this can be fixed. Great plugin though. Keep up the good work. greets : ) |

I have the same problem! Cannot save any capture I make and the function display numbers also doesn't work anylonger... I select it but no numbers display at all!
Plug-in Fireshot 0.50 OS type: MS Windows XP professional, english, SP2 VErsion of firefox: 2.0.0.14 Start FX, select anywebsite, click on Fireshot button, edit screenshot, click on save. Won't save, have "Unable to create bitmap: out of recources. Try reducing imageextents or get more of free RAM" don't have the problem though when simply selecting "takes screenshot visible area and SAVE". Thanks for help |
