FireShot screenshot extension no longer lets me edit

Question

hello - i can click 'capture entire page and edit' but the new editing window no longer appears. i can see the blue & white 'S' in my toolbar but no editing window. i tried rebooting, removing and reinstalling.

please take into account that your bugreports are likely to be ignored if you don't include the following info about your problem: Plugin version (i.e. FireShot 0.98.15) OS type and version (i.e. MS Windows XP Professional SP2, English) Version of browser (i.e. Firefox/30.0) Steps to reproduce the bug (i.e. Start browser, open FireShot editor, create a shape and try to save - you'll get an access violation xxxxxx)

same problem. Interestingly, i try to RIGHT-CLICK the 'S' tab/icon from my win10 desktop and select 'Close window' and nothing happens. also, a screen appears to flash up initially, but quickly disappears. The windows seems to be in background. Try switching via alt-tab to find this window or minimize the other applications to find the dialog.

Let's try resetting the settings. Please close all the browsers running FireShot and then delete the folder '%appdata%\FireShot\settings' (please back up this folder just in case). When you open the browser and start FireShot it will re-create this folder with default settings. Will that work for you?
