Fireshot extension no longer working/installable in Safari 16.2

Hello -
Unfortunately, it seems Fireshot is no longer working in Safari 16.2 under MacOSX BigSur 11.7.2. The icon in the browser window disappeared, and the extension is longer listed in the Safari options. I've tried reinstalling the Fireshot through the AppStore, but I only get to the window where it says "Welcome to FireShot extension (...) Open Safari preferences...". When I click the button, nothing happens  Any ideas / hints?
I also tried using Fireshot with Firefox for Mac, but there doesn't seem to be any option to activate my licence key anywhere... :-( Thanks in advance and best wishes, Chris PS: Otherwise, great software! Great time saver, definitely worth the money!

I'm having the same problem with Fireshot not appearing as an extension in Safari. I've tried the solution suggested above but no luck. Any other ideas why Fireshot its not appearing as an extension?
MacOS 13.4 (22F66) Safari Version 16.5 (18615.2.9.11.4) |
