I have used fireshot for a while (and loved it) but since upgrading to firefox 3 (rc2) it does not work.
When taking a screenshot it captures the navigation, tabs and status bar but the content of the website is grey. This happens for all websites. I use vista. I have downloaded the latest extension. Its not monitor dependant (I had a photoshop problem that was). Could it be conflict with other extensions? I have 6/7 extensions firebug, webdeveloper and greasemonkey. any help or advice please. toby |

I have no ideas how do you manage to capture tabs, status bar and other elements of Firefox. My addon captures only HTML / CHROME areas.
Update: just checked at Vista 64/FX RC 2,3 Works fine __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!

Plugin version: FireShot 0.5
OS type and version: MS Windows XP Professional SP2, English Version of Firefox: Firefox 3.0 Steps to reproduce the bug Trying to capture the following page produces a grey page, and it includes the browser navigation elements. Follow the link, try "Entire Page - Email" or "Entire Page - Clipboard". www.e107.org/e107_plugins/bugtrack/bugtrack_stats.php |

So, you choose "Capture visible part/Entire" and edit and this is what you get?
looks like a Fx 3.0 specific bug Will try reproducing, thanks. __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!

Plugin version: FireShot 0.5
OS type and version: MS Windows XP Home SP2, English Version of Firefox: Firefox 3.0 Just an update if you press red S or take screenshot of visible area you get the browser bars but no website image, For some reason if you press the down arrow next to the red S go down to Take screenshot of entire page and edit it WORKS |

Yes, this is exactly what I wanted to ask, suspecting the reason.
What about capturing from context menu? Thanks in advance. __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!

Hi JK,
The only way you can screenshot is from the Context menu and that is only if you use Take screenshot of (entire page) every other way just gives you the browser and a Grey screen nothing showing. |

Hi sparkley
Yes, I understand that this context menu is OK. But FireShot has got 2 context menus: first is launched by pressing "down arrow" next to the red S, second one is launched by rightclick on the webpage. Are the OK both? And what happens if you select "screenshot of *visible* area" from these menus? Browser and Grey ? __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!

Hi Again the only one that works in both i.e arrow down and right click is if you take screen shot of entire page, if you take screenshot of visible area in arrow down or right click or by press red s you have picture of browser and grey hope this helps as this is a great program |

Ok. I've tested it on 5 PC's with different configurations and I haven't got any errors similar to ones described above. I suspect the reason can be a combination of addons installed at your PC.
Can you please disable all addons except FireShot, then restart FX and check how does it work at "clean" config ? Possibly any messages in error console? __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!

Good news, thanks. Just installed SearchStatus 1.25 and re-created this bug.
Update: discovered the reason. The fix will be available in the next release. __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!
