How to capture pop up windows or other screen items in multiple screens?

Trying to capture pop up window and other information in a multiple screen environment. It appears that I can only capture information directly on the firefox screen or internet explorer screen.
I need to capture images and data that is not directly contained in that window. Is there a way to use the mouse to select the area to be captured outside of the primary window?

OS Windows 7 64 bit

1. Switch FireShot to Pro mode
2. When required to make a capture, press the Print Screen button
3. Open FireShot's menu and select "Open from Clipboard"
