fireshot screenshots were saved as dos application - can i get them converted to screenshots

Question

I just discovered that some screenshots I took with fireshot were not saved as png or jpg but rather as msdos application - is there a way to open them in fireshot? what can I do ?

Windows 10 - and chrome - not sure what version of plugin I was using at the time

Hello. Yes, that looks a bit strange, and we still do not know the cause of this problem - is there a way to get in touch with you via TeamViewer for a short debugging session? P.S. To convert such a 'dos app' to png or jpg, simply select it in Explorer, press F2 (rename) and add '.png' or '.jpg' (without quotes) to the end of the name.

Yes, please send them to contacts@getfireshot.com It's highly probable, that this email will be blocked by mail servers. In that case, please share them online on Google Disk or any other file sharing services. Thank you.

I did already try the renaming thing -no works. text me for teamviewer -i'm back and forth fro computer - I am not using the screenshot right now just trying to pull up pictures of a website I was saving as a screenshot -I have deleted the website so I can't take screenshots of it anymoe and need the images for my client but can't seem to get the filename to recognise with renaming 415 847 7712 text

What I would really like to do is send you the screenshots that are now .exe files and see if you can covert them to screenshots - I really have no intention of using fireshot for screenshots again unless I know they will not save in ,exe files. I really need those screenshots I took - they were for a client before their website was removed so we could replicate the website elsewhere -now they are useless to me and of no help. IU have tried renaming to no avail do u have an alternate way to convert to screenshot please send me an email address where I can forward the files to you thank you
