[RFE] Pointer Numbering

I have two pictures and have items numbered. The first picture has items numbered 1 through 6. I would like to start with number 7 on the second picture. It would be beneficial to change the number to whatever desired, whether it is a starting value ( as in this case ) or a different value altogether.
