FireShot 0.80 captured file was not saved although FS confirmed it did.

OS: vista Ultimate
fireshot: 0.80

Fireshot confirmed JPG file saved and launched the Windows Explorer, where the saved file was visible in the desired WE folder.  However, after closed the FS and went into WE again, the file was no longer there (or not visible).  BTW, the Hidden flag was disabled in the WE folder.  So I went back to FS the second time, the saved file showed up as it was.
#1. Save feature is not reliable to let me access my saved file outside the FS.
#2. E-mail feature was also not functional when Outlook was configured as my default e-mailer.
I don’t have server to upload, therefore, the only way to output my JPG file in FS is to use Copy button to clipboard first.  I did try it back and forth and the file was still there.
According to this forum, this problem was reported back in September 2009.  It was replied as fixed item but not according to my experience.
Without key feature functional, there is no point to upgrade to Pro.

You said you saw the file in the WE folder, but after closed FS and went into WE again it disappeared. Looks like some program removes it because FS does not work this way unless you the working folder specified in FS options equals to the place you save the pictures at and "remove files older than..." is checked.

Below is part of Options configuration:
Options|General|Confirmation|OPen folder after saving

Therefore, right after saving, FS open the target folder, which is a WE folder(opened by FS).  My files are there.

However, when I open a WE directly from the Start button, The 2nd window (opened by MS) does not have my files.

How do I post my screenshot, which clearly indicates the difference between folders, Or if you send me an e-mail then I can reply with the attachment of screen shot.

<-- It won't let me paste JPG.

It took so much time, but finally I've got the reason of that issue.
A quick solution will be disabling Protected Mode for Internet Explorer (please read more by googling).

A more complex solution for Protected Mode should be ready soon.

Actually, I have found a quick work around for this. We just need to disable User Account Control on Vista. Not sure with Windows 7 or 8 though.
