Plugin version: FireShot 0.99.1)
OS type and version (Apple Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7) Version of browser (Chrome Version 91.0.4472.106 (Official Build) (x86_64)) Steps to reproduce the bug: I purchased Fireshot on my Work Virtual Desktop (Windows 10 running on Citrix Xen on my Mac) and I started to install it there, and it gave a link to download the installer .exe. But then I realized that I wanted to install it outside my virtual Windows desktop and on Chrome on my Mac. So I went out of my Work Virtual desktop to my Mac email, clicked on the Fireshot "quick activation" link, and then clicked on "Please click to start Activation". It then pointed to the Fireshot icon in Chrome, and I clicked the icon. It then opened a page in Chrome with the following message: Starting FireShot Pro activation... Checking, if FireShot is up to date...[DONE] Checking Pro features...[FAIL] We have detected, that FireShot works in Lite mode. We need to install the Pro features first. Please do the following: Download the FireShot Pro installer. Close your browser (make sure you've closed all the instances). Perform the FireShot Pro installation. Restart your browser and reload this page. The link is to an .exe file which of course doesn't work on my Mac. How can I register Fireshot on my Mac? Thanks for any help you can provide! |
