chrome screenshot extension v.0.98.53 stopped working

Question

I've been using the Chrome Fireshot screenshot extension for a very long time. Today it just stopped working. The icon and the menu are visible, but when trying to get a screenshot, nothing happens.

Plugin version (i.e. FireShot 0.45)
OS type and version (i.e. MS Windows XP Professional SP2, English)
Version of browser (i.e. Firefox/2.0.0.14)
Steps to reproduce the bug (i.e. Start FX, open FireShot editor, create a shape and try to save - you'll get an access violation xxxxxx)

Your Chrome versions looks outdated. Did you try updating your browser to the latest release? P.S. Just checked FireShot on Chrome 37 - works fine.

I've updated Chrome to Version 36.0.1985.125 m, which is telling me "Google Chrome is up to date." Any way of troubleshooting/re-installing Fireshot? Should I consider re-installing Chrome, will I loose the bookmarks and settings of the current one? Thanks

Yes. The Fireshot extension v.0.98.53 i had, was corrupt. Upon reinstalling it, the problem was solved. Thanks for following up on this. Nancy
