I am looking to buying a fireshot pro license... is it based on per user or per machine or per home/address, etc?
I have my main machine and a laptop that I use whilst away from home, etc. I only use one machine at a time and I'm still just one person, so would I be ok using the same license on both machines? Also, is the reg code good for bot IE and firefox or are 2 different licenses required? lastly, in your online store checkout, there's an option to buy lifetime support and upgrades warranty, but on the prev page it says this is only valid for one year, that's not lifetime! Quote:
If you buy Lifetime Support and Upgrades Warranty, then you receive these additional services for one year: * Priority email support. * All upgrades for FREE. * Optional involvement in beta program. So are upgrades free for one year or lifetime (forever)? |

I think I just found the answer to the first part of my own question in this reply to someone asking a similar thing (but wanting the opposite to me).
Link to thread in premium support area Quote:
the license is personal That's good to know... Seeing as the license is personal (based on a person rather than a machine), in which case I should be fine with one license, even if I had lots of computers, I would be ok as I'm just one person... That's great... Otherwise I could see it was going to become expensive. . |

WoM,
- Yes, the license is personal. - The reg codes used in FX and IE are different. But you get a discount if you buy both of them. - The upgrades are free forever if you buy Lifetime support |

I am trying to buy a Fireshot pro single user license.
No matter which "buy" link I click, I end up at Avangate with an empty shopping cart. I'd like to send you some money, but I can't figure out how to do it. |

It works just fine for me (checked twice).
Can you try another browser? Would you like to purchase FireShot for Firefox? |

Hi there,
I was looking at Fireshot before Christmas and downloaded it while I still remembered I wanted to try it out on a project that I knew we had coming up. Apparently it installed itself when I added it and activated itself too. Well, I just went to try it out today for a project we are working for out team as I am the guinea pig for new software that we purchase and apparently the trial for the Pro version started the day I downloaded it even though I never got to use it and it has expired. Which I guess I can understand but in this case it is kind of silly as if I had know that before hand, I would have just bookmarked it. Is there anyway to reset it or get another trial version so that I can actually review it for our team while working on this project? Please let me know, because if not, we will just go ahead and purchase the other software we we are currently demoing. You can email me at the email I have registered. Thanks, Andrew |

I have a question and a comment.
How do I make use of premium support email? Just post in the forum here? Or is there an actual email address for it? I bought Fireshot Pro expecting it to work both in Firefox and IE. It's not clear from your website you must buy 2 registration codes to use Pro in both browsers. This is disappointing and to be honest I don't see why I should pay twice. Luckily I put the code in Firefox rather than IE, else I would really not be happy. |

I've been using Fireshot Free and accidentally clicked on the Upgrade to Pro menu item. How can I revert back to the free version?
I already tried uninstalling Fireshot & reinstalling, but it retained my previous settings. Thanks for a great product. |
