Cannot save images which take up more ram than permitted by a 32-bit browser (Google Chrome).
Unable to create bitmap: out of resources. Try reducing image extents or get more of free RAM Screen recording of problem: http://youtu.be/55B3m1mRvvk Is there a way around this? On the fly compression? Or even dumping the raw image sequently when it comes to ~3GB to disk then just "joining" it as one? EDIT: nevermind, it seems if i choose "Capture Entire Page and ... > Edit" it works. I can live with that
Plugin version: FireShot 0.98.3 OS type and version: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1, en-us Browser and version: Google Chrome 20.0.1105.2 Steps to reproduce the bug: Try to capture a webpage with alot of high res photos. See posted video link. |

| Thanks for reporting, but please let me know whether you do additional editing in the editor before saving or is saving from the editor working better than the direct one? | ||

saving from the editor is working, no additional editing is necessary. Just "Capture entire page and ... > Edit", once the capture opens in the editor i can successfully save it.
However directly doing "Capture entire page and ... > Save" on large bitmaps results in error: Unable to create bitmap: out of resources. Try reducing image extents or get more of free RAM |

Wow, looks interesting...
Can you please provide any URL causing that problem for you? |

1. install userscript "4chan x" from: mayhemydg.github.com/4chan-x/
*This allows the images in the thread to be expanded in the same window
2. go to "boards.4chan.org/w/" and select a thread that has over 40 image replies
3. Expand the images, after images are done loading, "capture entire page and.. > save"

Sorry to bump up this old post. But is there a work around for this specific issue already? |
