Hello -
I receive notification there is an upgrade available from .92 to .93, however, when it downlads and unpacks I receive a note that states 'fireshot-install.exe' is not found. Frank |

Ver: 0.96
XP-Pro SP3 FF: 9.0.1 No bug. Just a request and comment. 1. I find it difficult to find the latest FF version supported. Can this be made easier? 2. I don't blog or tweet. But I sure would like to add my 2 cents about Fireshot Pro!! Been using for years now. I won't update my FF version untill FS catches up... FS is just a key addon for me! How much money have I saved by using Fire Shot Pro? Thou$ands. How... My online banking (Credit Union) gets a system bug in their online banking software about once a year. The last one, about 2 months ago, reported I was overdrawn by $350.00 Aprx. When I looked on line, the numbers and transactions were pretty skewed and very wrong. It showed I was in an overdrawn condition for almost 3 months! I called, and the bank rep. assured me "They" don't make mistakes! EVER. So, they confiscated the 350 from savings, and another $200.00 in missed overdraft fees...
For years now, everytime I use online banking, just before I logout I "Capture" the entire page and catalog it in an organized folder system. I include a "Watermark" in very small, grayed text at the bottom of the page noting the time, day, and "Captured By: "FireShot Pro" annotation. I merely send an Email to the Presidents desk with a copy of the screen from the previous day and the tech dweebs that claim "Customer stupidity" go running scarred! Problem solved. They ALWAYS discover a record or software issue. And what about the other customers? I don't know. I tell everyone I meet at the credit union to get Screen Shot or FS-Pfro. Question: Does Fireshot care if I use Windows 7/64 Bit? Thanks for a GREAT product! Roger Simon rs9@earthlink.net Where can I post a review? |

Hi Roger and thank you for your story. I'm very happy to know it helps you because this was my main target when I decided to make FireShot public.
Answering your questions. 1. The latest supported version can be checked at the AMO webpage: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5648 Just scroll to the bottom of this webpage and check 'Version information' Actually I'm trying to do my best and release a new version by the time of new FF release. 2. You can leave your feedback there: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/fireshot/reviews/ - I'll appreciate that much. |
