Fireshot Pro toolbar/button not visible in IE9

Fireshot Pro is installed and enabled in IE9, but the toolbar is not visible and there is no Fireshot button visible. I have enabled and disabled the add-on. No luck. It has worked in the past. This is the second time the toolbar/button has disappeared. The last time, I upgraded to the latest version of the add-on and that seemed to solve it, but it looks like that was not really the solution.

Plugin version: 0.97.3
OS type and version: Windows 7 Pro, SP1
Version of IE: 9.0.8112.16421
Steps to reproduce the bug: Start IE9; toolbar not visible

I've faced the same issue, and the fact that JohnyCee's post has remained unanswered for almost a year makes me a bit worried.

In my case, the issue is simple: once I have hidden the Fireshot toolbar in IE9, I am unable to show it again. See further below the relevant screenshots.

The solution I found was to re-install FireShot in IE using the relevant option from the Fireshot button in Firefox. Definitely not the most convenient.

By the way; I don't see how to show the version number of my Fireshot installation, but I assume it is the latest, as checking for updates brings no results.

Possibly, it's an incompatibility issue with IE9. I would use Firefox over IE except for those specific sites that needs IE to be loaded. https://imagicon.info/cat/13-77/smile3.png
